Account handlers wanted at all levels

We don’t fill positions, we appoint people – so if you’re a talented and productive editorially-led PR account handler, get in touch and show us what you can do.

Whatever level you are at, if you join Garnett Keeler, you will write – a lot ! We tell our clients that the people who attend the contact meetings are the people that do the writing on their account, and we mean it. Your application will be taken more seriously if you have NCTJ or CIPR training (in the UK), a relevant degree, or have completed equivalent training with a recognised media organisation. Hard news / general news journalists do well at Garnett Keeler but must have the intellectual ‘clout’ to grasp technical, scientific and business subjects and to write for an informed audience, not just the general public. You’ll be given any training and support required to climb the learning curve.

Nationality is irrelevant and applications are welcomed from candidates whose first language is French or German, although fluent or near-fluent written and spoken English is required. Applications from North American and Australasian candidates are also encouraged.

We offer 5 weeks holiday per year, a training needs analysis plus a programme of approved external training provision, pension (after qualifying period), CIPR membership fees and other top hat benefits. Remuneration will not be a bar to appointing the right people.
